Falasarna Beach,
In a lot of walking distance from the ancient city (about 500 m) lies the beautiful beach in Greece and one of the 3 most beautiful of the Mediterranean.The so-called and "thick sand" by locals, 2 Km in length and width up to 500 meters in some places, impressive for its crystal clear waters, but its impressive sand.
Apart from the thick sand, there are a number of smaller coves stretching 4 km in length and suitable for all tastes. Falasarna beach has been awarded the blue flag and am well organized and has beach umbrellas, lifeguard, shower, wc and canteens.
